The Redmi 10 Prime was unveiled in India on Friday as Xiaomi’s new model in the Redmi series. The new Redmi phone comes as a major improvement than the Redmi 9 Prime launched in August last year. It brings a hole display design, a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor, and a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC. The Redmi 10 Prime also comes with a 90Hz display and two stereo speakers to offer an enhanced experience to last year’s model. The new smartphone also appears to be a redesigned version of the Redmi 10 launched by Xiaomi worldwide last month.
Redmi 10 Prime Specifications
The dual-SIM Redmi 10 Prime running on Android 11 has MIUI 12.5 more and features a 6.5-inch full-HD + (1,080×2,400 pixels) display with a 20: 9-factor ratio and protection for Corning Gorilla Glass 3 The display also has a refresh rate of 90Hz corresponding to the content frame to switch between refresh values of 45Hz, 60Hz, and 90Hz. The Redmi 10 Prime features a 6,000mAh battery that supports 10W fast charging using a 22.5W integrated charger up to 9W for recurring charging. The battery is mainly the only paper between the Redmi 10 Prime and the standard Redmi 10 as the latter has a 5,000mAh packet.
In addition, the Redmi 10 Prime measures 161.95×75.57×9.56mm and weighs 192 grams.

The price of the Redmi 10 Prime in India is set at Rs. 12,499 4GB of RAM + 64GB of different storage. The phone has a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option with a price tag of Rs. 14,499. The Redmi 10 Prime will be available in Astral White, Bifrost White, and Phantom Black colors and will be on sale from September 7 via Amazon, Mi.com, Mi Home, Mi Studios, and supermarkets across the country. The phone comes with up to Rs. 750 Quick Discount for Customer Buyers using an HDFC Bank card or EMI transaction.
To give you some idea, the Redmi 10 has been launched worldwide for an initial price of $ 179 (approximately Rs. 13,100) for a variation of 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variants. Xiaomi also last year introduced the Redmi 9 Prime for the first price of Rs. 9,999 4GB RAM + 64GB storage option.
