Today we will discuss the latest update from google that google workspace is now free to all users having a google account. Here is the process how to get started with google workspace.
Google Workspace is Free
Google on Monday announced that it is switching its Google Workspace services to include more users – every single user with a Google Account will specify. This means that all of the company’s 3 billion users and users will soon be able to access all the Space Workspace working tools, formerly known as G Suite.
The company announced a new change to its blog on Monday, explaining that a new, updated Chat app – set to include Hangouts, as well as new Docs, Spreadsheets, Slides, Meet, Gmail, and more features soon will get better integration for all users – just as it currently works for paid Workspace users, the company explains.
Google says that with the free google workshop update, users will be able to share and store content such as videos and photos of events and trips, documents including Google Spreadsheets. In the meantime, the company will also deliver powerful @ -mentions to Gmail, Calendar, and other Google services for every user. Smart canvas support also comes to Google Docs for any user with a Google Account – this will go hand in hand with Google Meet for instant submissions.
“By bringing Google Workspace to everyone, we make it easier for people to stay connected, organized and achieve more collaboratively, whether it enhances purpose, plan your family reunion, share next PTA steps or discuss this month’s book club choice,” Kelly said. Walther, VP Marketing of Google Workspace, and Aparna Pappu, VP Engineering of Google Workspace explained on the company’s blog.
Coming later this month, it is a “Workspace Individual” feature that will give users the ability to pay for advanced Workspace features such as smart booking services, professional video conferencing services, and personalized email marketing, with many features along the way.
However, Google Workspace Individual will be marketed in only six markets, starting with the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, and Japan. There is no word from the company yet, of whether the Workspace Individual plans will arrive in India, or how much it will cost to do so.
In the meantime, users can point to their Gmail inbox to unlock the first feature of Google Workspace for free. This will give them access to Google Chat features for free, including the Collaborative Rooms feature – this is only available to its existing (paid) google workspace users to date.
The company says the Rooms feature will be Spaces (not the recently released Twitter audio feature) that will include an online article series, presence indicators, custom scenarios, clear reactions, and folding views. These updates are expected to arrive in the next few months, the company explained on its blog.
Google Hangout is Now Google Chat With Awesome Features
Google officially makes its google Workspace apps available to all users with a Google Account instead of limiting it to people who use apps by their employers. Nearly 3 billion users with Google accounts now have access to the company’s latest versions of Gmail, Docs, and Chat. A change for those who have been using Google Hangouts to chat can be the solution to all Google message problems or any other Google change that will work to confuse hell for everyone.
If you are still using Hangouts in Gmail, you can switch to Google Chat by going to Gmail settings in your browser, click on “See all settings,” and navigate to the “Conversations and Meetings” tab. Once there, you’ll see an option to switch from an existing Hangouts app to the new Google Chat info. Gmail will update and open the inbox dialog window in the new service as you save your changes. Click on Started, and Google will show you where to place new Shortcuts for Chat, Meet, and New Rooms.
Google Chat has the appearance of Google. It brings a wide range of emoji responses, enhanced message configuration, user roles for large chat rooms and communities, and rating tools – all of which are features in chat apps like Discord and Slack. There is also the feature of Spaces, an effective interactive tool found within any Room in Chat, which seems to be very useful for people with large families or strong friends groups. Spaces include file-sharing functions, and you can create multiple tasks between Docs and Chat from within Gmail.
The Chat app and its related features are not the only things you can try as part of this new human action interaction with Workspace. You can also check for new smart chips in Google Docs by typing the “@” sign with a name or command. The announcement also introduces the arrival of the Google Workspace Individual, aimed at small and independent entrepreneurs. Subscriptions provide access to smart booking services, video integration suite, and email marketing tools themselves. There is even a way to move emails from your website to a specific Gmail account. Plans start at $ 10 a month.
Just the act of checking Hangouts and switching to Chat feels like the end of a difficult slogan: we’ve been waiting and waiting for something else, preparing for the final ending. Of course, the saga won’t be the last one until Google kills Hangouts and forces a switch to Chat.
And how great was the common denominator. The Google chat platform has ridden bicycles in too many words in the last five years – it is a major technology company like the soap opera ownership problem. First, Google killed Gtalk and re-launched messaging services like Hangouts. After that, Hangouts is split into Hangouts Meet and Hangouts Chat. When Google updated its easy-to-use features, Hangouts Meet became a simple Meet, and Hangouts Chat stayed in the same box that has been in Gmail, leading many to believe (and myself) that we can continue business as usual.
And this is after I lived through the Great Messaging Crisis of 2018 when Google killed Allo and left Android users angry about the need to move to a new system again.
The irony of all these changes is that Google has actually been trying to make its messaging systems less confusing to users and delivering change at a moderate pace of change. But the result is a lot of confusion across the board. People want to use the same message functionality they used to have – changing names and features for it is unnecessarily complicated.
